It has been a while

I knew I once had started a blog and thought at the time I was going to keep up with it. It has been 4 years since I have last wrote anything. I decided to try again. Wish me luck!
I am still working the same job and find myself today in lovely Crowley, LA. It a nice quiet slum of a town. You can drive around in your car with a beer or a mixed drink. I felt weird doing it the first time but now I fit right in with the local drunks. I will write more later when I have some pictures to post and more things to wright about.

Indiana

What a culture shock. My first work assignment for the fall was suppose to be in MN, but I was shipped out to Sullivan, IN. I am overwhelmed with how big the cornfields are here and amazed how individuals can live in the middle no where. I have a 45 minute drive to work. The best thing is that I am staying in Terre Haute which is a busy big University town.

I went to a bar last night. I was the only girl in the bar. There was about 30 men in the bar and between all of them they had about 7 full sets of teef. There were people in the parking lot of the bar with their cars jacked up with cinder blocks working underneath them like it was an auto shop. The bartender had a cowboy hat on that look like a bucket. Apparently they have bands there on some nights because in the corner of the bar there was a poorly erected stage that looked like it could not hold a full set of drums without falling down.

I ate lunch at a general store. I am not happy about it cause it was so gross inside the store I was afraid of the food. Of course, they had a small kitchen with served hot plates and you could get a huge helping of corn! Which I did have and it was good.

Its also hot as balls here!

Oh and I finally tried to get back to working out by doing 20 minutes of my yoga tape. My muscles are tight and I feel very unhealthy. I still need to stop the drinking. Wish me luck.

FayVer

Hurricane Fay has turned out to be a huge pain in the ass. The first two days were a joke, but today she stuck it to us. The wind was blowing the rain sideways and making the trees bend in odd-like yoga positions. The fortunate thing about this weather, providing is not blowing the roof off your house, is that is makes for a great nap or in my case a few great naps.
I did however get off my ass to do some late summer cleaning which included purging the closet of shit I can't wear anymore and packing things away that I hope fit again one of these day. Beer does not do a body good! I really need to jump back on that wagon. No Really! It hard to see in the picture but I am sporting the newest look in beer guts. Nice Huh!

The tree outside my window reminds me of the tree from Poltergeist. I keep thinking it going to break through and the limb is going to grab me and sling me outside which reminds me I need to wear PJ's again tonight. No one wants to be slung out their window with their labia flapping in the wind.

Stay Sexy San Diego!

The First of Many

After many years of wondering if I should start a blog I decided today is the day. Why today? Well 1st, the name of the blog was a big issue. I did not want it to be to hokie or just plain stupid. So over drinks yesterday, my friend Erin and I brainstormed or drank ourseveles into believing that Fill In My Blanks was going to be the name. Why? Well because occasionally I will write a about something that happened and leave some blanks for my friends or strangers to possibly blog with what they think happened by, DUH, filling in the blanks! Not sure how it will work or when the first posting of an Ad Lib of sorts will take place but whatever at least I am finally going to document some of the craziness that happens in my life. I must go now. Hurricane Fay is prompting me to go fill up the tank in my car and buy some water. U just never know with Florida hurricanes what exactly is going to happen.
